Built By Bennett provides metal roofing repair, restoration, maintenance, and replacement throughout Washington, DC, with experience working on both traditional tin roofing and copper roofing systems commonly found on older and historic properties.

We handle everything from localized leak repairs and flashing work to larger restoration projects designed to extend the service life of an existing metal roof. Depending on the condition of the roof, restoration may include cleaning, preparation, sealing seams and penetrations, repairing deteriorated areas, and applying compatible protective coating systems where appropriate.

We also work with copper roofing, valleys, flashing, gutters, downspouts, and other architectural metal details that are an important part of many Washington homes.

Not every aging metal roof needs to be replaced. Our approach is to evaluate the existing system first and determine whether repair, restoration, or replacement provides the best long-term solution for the property.
